COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 Simply speaking it was a great race in a great city. The event was organized and executed very well from the day before (registration and expo) to the finish. Just one word of caution: runners, watch your steps in the Old Town, the cobbled streets may slow you down. I did not see the winners crossing the finish line, but the arrival of the last finisher was spectacular and fantastic just like a royal welcome. Thank you Warsaw for a great race, dziekuje... | |

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 This is a top notch race. Great expo, pasta party and awesome backdrop for the start and finish line near the national stadium. The route is flat and fast. The temperature was cool and the day was a bit windy this year. Great oasis with cheerful volunteers. Besides the race, Warsaw is such a nice and historical city to visit. Lots to see and do and there is easy access by underground and trolleys. Oh, and is inexpensive. Go see for yourself. | |

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This was my marathon number 60 and one of the very few races where I did not hesitate to give it three '5'. Organization and weather were close to perfect, the beautiful city course was scenic, flat and fast and the volunteers and spectators were simply speaking fantastic. From the day before the race to the finish line and beyond - everything was smooth and efficient. The simultaneous, parallel start of 10 km and the marathon was very unique and great idea. COURSE: 3 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 3 Excellent organization for this 10km/marathon. Expo, start and finish at National stadium with free city transportation for runners. Water stations numerous and best ratio of portaopotty/runners I have seen so far. |
