Well organized race and registration. First Marathon and the best one so far. Great route and fully equipped hydration booth.

I was supposed to run this last year but a knee injury sidelined me. ended up cheering my Kamote teammates instead when they ran their first marathon here. nicely organized event, nice route too. can't wait to hit it this year! ;-P

I've run this in 2010 and I was very satisfied with the organization, and the challenging but fast route. The registration fee is steep, though since most of us spend a lot already on training and other races have fees which don't eat up too much of our meagre pesos. I hope organizers lower the fee to attract more locals into joining it. The same feedback regarding the fee is shared among my running friends. I would recommend this to first timers. Also, I Appreciate the 4:00 am start since Manila is famously hot, humid and smoke-filled so its very considerate to start early and hopefully finish early too.
