I had completed an indoor marathon previously(Ada, OH), so I knew what I was getting into. It's pretty hard to make 211 indoor laps exciting, but the RD did a pretty good job of keeping the music going, and the trackside announcer did a good job of trying to mention runners' names on occasion. Lots of Marathon Maniacs at this race. They had chip timing, and had a monitor set up for runners to see our times as we ran by. The only problem was that the monitor may have been too close to the sensors. I could only pick up my name 3 times in 211 laps. Perhaps if the monitor could be moved 'x' number of feet past the sensors, we would be able to see our times more often. This would reduce stress on the timing people. Overall, good job by everyone. Special mention to the manual timers who each kept track of multiple runners.
