"much improved in all areas!" (about: 2015)
50+ previous marathons
| 1 Kyiv Marathon
COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 4 FANS: 3 New marathon course now two different loops and includes some of the city's best sights. Avoided the many severe hills. Improved start location, well staffed aid stations. Expo for packet pickup could be in more convenient location.

"Good for 5K and 10K" (about: 2014)
First Marathon
COURSE: 3 ORGANIZATION: 3 FANS: 2 The route was nice and well protected for the shorter races. I think the longer races (half and full marathons) would have been boring and tedious as the course didn't change, there were just repetitive loops. That being said, living in Kyiv, I know how expensive it would be to update the infrastructure so that races in other, more pleasant areas, would be feasible. That is, there aren't many places in the city that can accommodate this event due to poor city planning and annoying corruption/bureaucracy. I ran the 5K and it was a lot of fun. Anything beyond the 10K wouldn't be so nice. Surprised, however, that the longer races didn't loop around the old areas near Maidan and St. Andrew's.

"Only if you want to see Kyiv while there" (about: 2012)
6-10 previous marathons
| 1 Kyiv Marathon
COURSE: 2 ORGANIZATION: 3 FANS: 1 The race has a long way to go to be up to scratch for such a large city. Three 14 km loops where you go past the finish line 7 times, yes 7, on the last loop you do another 1k out and back. Water in two places. Traffic control was absolutely horrible. Kievites were really pissed that they couldn't just drive. I saw several drivers screaming and yelling at runners. The race is downtown but we were completely ignored by the thousands of people down there as they basically just walked in front of us when they felt like it. Its cheap to enter though.

"My second Marafon" (about: 2012)
2 previous marathons
| 2 Kyiv Marathons
COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 3 FANS: 2 I have little experience in participating in marathons, this was my second marathon. first and second were Kieve.V Marathon this year to run it was easier than last year, despite the hot weather, but because that was all of two points with the water supply, which were located unevenly, the result of me not udovletvoril.Zriteli were, but little has been. There were many people who walked along the road or crossing it, when and where would wish them to do so, participants in the marathon was viewed as a hindrance in their movement. When you can not move freely and participate in competitions where you wish, do not have to choose.
