COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 3 Both marathon and half, are fab, very challenging, especially the hill at the start of the half. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and a great t shirt and medal at the Finnish. | |

"My first trail marathon - I loved it!" (about: 2010)

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 I enjoyed the early start; I was able to start right on the start line. The hills were long and steep, but I walked up them to save my legs. (I could not have run up them even if I had wanted too.) Receiving bottled water at the aid stations was a great plus! The views of the countryside and the valleys from the top of the downs were unbelievable! This was a challenging marathon for me, but I loved every minute of it. The organizers did a fantastic job. if I were to be back in England again when this marathon is taking place, I would sign up in a heartbeat. Thanks for making my first trail marathon so enjoyable. |
