The Cape Wrath Challenge is truly a one-of-a-kind marathon experience (it was my 9th).

You are treated on a great Scottish outback run in a reasonably small but very friendly runner's field.

The highlights include
(a) being escorted in a 6 persons ferry to the start,
(b) to run virtually in-the-middle-of-nowhere on Scotland's most far Northwestern end,
(c) the great Scottish celebration banquet with the villagers and runners after the marathon
(d) the very pleasant and warm organization committee.
