Overall this was an excellent event but there was some confusion for the 7km runners on which course to take. Many were guided to follow the marathon course and ended up running about 13km.

Sports drinks were included, spectators were just extraordinary, the president starts the race and addresses the runners, and there's plenty of track support. You fly there via Darwin Airport. Good after-race BBQ. One of those exotic tropical-style runs.
