EXCELLENT event. First of all, the race website has very specific, accurate information about everything you will need to know. Good idea to read thru everything so you know what to expect. Reasonably priced entry fee. Well worth every penny. Great organization. Honestly, I don't have any suggestions on how to make this race any better. 2015 was a wet year in FL so anyone running a distance longer than the half would have had A LOT of mud to run thru. Course is a mix of leaf and pine needle covered trails, sandy trails and park roads, a stretch thru tall, dead grass, a brief section of asphalt road and a little on grassy fields. Several very muddy sections and a couple little creek crossings. Super well marked course and good aid stations. This was my first Dances with Dirt race and I can't wait to run more.

Great trail marathon; weather was chilly at the beginning, but it warmed up nicely. Friendly group, good support. Beautiful course. You WILL be wet, but at least no hills! I had to sneak in and out of this one, as my wife and kids were at Disney and I didn't tell her where I was going. I would love to do this one again; I can't make it next year though.
