I ran this marathon in October 2004 and was really pleased. The race consists of 4 loops (each time smaller), so you would run 4 times through the start/finish. It is always a good thing when you have friends/family; they sat on one spot and could support you on various stages of the race. The castle of Beloeil is beautiful. It is a small race with few marathon runners - you run a lot alone in the countryside, but there were a lot of volunteers and various places to get drinks/food. A nice marathon and I'll probably do it again!
