The course is a very nice combination of some towns as well as typical "Limburg" undulating hills and fields. Unfortunately the course is a bit repetitive - after 25K you come back to the Meerssen market square where a lot of runners stop (as this marathon has distances of 5, 25 and full course), while the full course runners then set off on a course very similar to where they just came from.

I ran this race on a very hot day and the people of Limburg were all out there with their water hoses. Organization was good - water every 5K or so, which (at least for me) was sufficient.
