When we started MarathonGuide.com, we decided to concentrate on one area of running: the Marathon. We chose this niche because we believed that we could be 100% comprehensive in our coverage of marathons and marathoning - and we'll never be happy with less than 100%: whether that be having 100% of the world's marathons on our calendar, reporting on 100% of the world's marathons or making available results from 100% of the marathons in the English speaking world. That's our goal and we're sticking by it.
US Races At last count we had 384 marathons listed on our calendar of US marathons. That's more than you will find from any other source: web or other. And, together with the marathon's information, we have links to archived news, full results and comments from other runners - or add your own comments.
International Races You can find over 500 international marathons in the calendar of international marathons. As in our US marathon calendar, you can find links to archived results, news and comments from other runners. And of course, please do add your own comments!
Marathon Search Use the Quick Race Search box on the Home Page of MarathonGuide.com to quickly search by name for a marathon or use the Full Marathon Search to search by name, location or date. When searching by name, you may enter any letters of a marathon's name - this is especially useful when searching by name for foreign marathons (e.g., search 'rom' for Rome Marathon... it may be in the database as Roma or Rome).
Searchable Marathon Results From the English Speaking World
We've been at this since 2000 and have created a searchable database of virtually all Marathon results in the English speaking world. You may search by first name, last name or just the first few letters of the name (in case you're not sure of the correct spelling.
You may browse through results one marathon at a time and/or use the results search form (which is also available from the front page of MarathonGuide.com)
