Great race organized. Plenty of water stops and even had cold towels because of warm day.

This race is extremely organized and well run! The course modifications this year made for an even better experience. I <3 the BCS Half Marathon!!

Best race in Texas; will not miss a year if possible. Best communication and community support by far!

Best small (3500) marathon and 1/2 anywhere! (about: 2012)

1) This is the most well organized full or 1/2 marathon you will ever attend. 2) Racer support is phenomenal. 3) The course is fairly flat and the scenery is diverse and entertaining. 4) In only the second year, spectator support is very positive and growing. 5) Best post-race food and rink I have ever seen at any race. 6) Cool medals and good swag. This is a runner's event, for runners of all ability levels, that happens to support some really great charities! The options for this feedback don't distinguish between full and 1/2 marathons, but I have run 1 full and 4 1/2 marathons, including doing the BCS 1/2 twice.

I am ready to sign up for next year! (about: 2012)

Many thanks to Chris and everyone who helped to make this marathon a success. This was my third marathon and far surpassed my expectations. The t-shirts, race side ammenities, food, medals, and hospitable volunteers were exceptional. I will refer several people for next year!

This was my first half marathon. It was very well organized and made first timers feel extremely welcome and encouraged. The organizer and the cause are both awesome. Definitely recommended!

The race was organized well and I loved that the parking was free, easy, and so close to the start.
For such a small race I was disappointed that I was forced to pick up my packet the day before but I was able to get a cheap hotel nearby.
The course was nice with frequent aid stations but few spectators (as I expected). The course going through campus had virtually no volunteers and had you up on sidewalks and taking many odd turns that I did not like. The last few miles of the course combined the half and full runners which made it very annoying to be weaving through walkers while I was finishing the marathon.
Having finished towards the front I also had to wait 2 and a half hours to get my award.

Excellent race organization and support (about: 2012)

This was my 5th marathon (Dallas, Chicago, NYC, OKC) and by far the most organized race with abundant communication to convey info and get you excited for the race. Chris does an incredible job in communication. This is a great race for a first time racer with his communications on facebook and email. He had Q&A videos posted on facebook and sent emails with info. I loved running through campus and was glad it was at the latter part of the race to distract me! The race hotel (Hilton) was great and this is the only race that had a breakfast bag delivered outside my hotel door on race day! This race gives attention to ALL of the details to make the race an enjoyable one! Thanks, Chris, you are awesome and I will be back! Whoop!

Can't wait till next year! (about: 2012)

Really enjoyed again this year.
Chris will consider any and all comments which is why this event will continue to get better each year. Until next year!!
