I've done a fair amount of races over the years and this one was ran very smoothly from packet pickup to post-race festivities. I can't wait to see it continue to grow into a premier marathon in Texas.

Terrific course, phenomenal organization, well-supported with plenty of aid stations/restrooms, the most convenient parking ever (and plenty of it), and delicious food right at the finish.

I have never been a runner so when I started hearing about this race months ago at first I ignored it. I then got caught with it on fb and joined. The race was very well organized and I really felt that Chris Field cared about the people running in it. From your elites to novices like me. Every detail was planned to the tee!!! I will be back again next year as a better runner!!!

First Marathon
This race was a lot of fun and the crowd support was overwhelmingly encouraging! I was never confused where to go and drink stations and restrooms were never too far away. This was my first race and I felt great the whole time. I will definitely be doing it again!

Great job on a first year race. Well stocked water stops, interesting route and enthusiastic volunteers. The medical staff provided by Scott & White were excellent. One of them made sure I made it to my husband after having balance issues at the finish line. The race actually started on time.
