Now in our 4th year, the Advocate Dreyer Fox Valley Marathon, Fall Final 20" and Half Marathon have quickly become premier fall racing events in Chicagoland attracting runners from across the US and around the world. Chosen by Chicago Magazine as Best Marathon 2012 this years races will be held on Sunday September 22nd.
Combining small race atmosphere with big race amenities, the Advocate Dreyer Fox Valley Marathon is ideal for both veterans looking for a fast course to qualify for Boston as well as first time marathoners looking for an uncrowded, supportive, family-friendly race setting.
The Fall Final 20" is an ideal way to prep for your fall marathon complete with marathon race atmosphere, full aid stations, pace groups, shirts, and finisher medals. Our innovative Race Flex Option gives you a guaranteed spot in your choice of the three race distances chosen at packet pickup. Free course test drive training runs all summer help you become familiar with the course prior to race day and feature pace groups and on course amenities. In addition to our great finisher medals, we also award Endurance Award medals for each consecutive year runners officially finish any of our races. And the CASA Kane County Fox Valley Kids Marathon continues to be a huge hit and will be held Saturday September 21st as participants finish their final 1.2 miles race weekend.
The three races wind along flat, tree lined roads and paths overlooking the scenic Fox River. Starting and ending in historic downtown St Charles, IL, the course winds through picturesque Geneva, Batavia, North Aurora, and Aurora along the Fox River to a spectacular finish across the Illinois Street Bridge that can be seen from over a mile away. The course offers great, easily accessible viewing spots so family and friends can support you throughout your race.
Join us on September 22 2013 for the 4th annual Fox Valley Marathon Races. The Fox Valley Marathon Races are now open for registration but don't wait, the race is capped at 3700 total runners and our races sell out early every year!
See you on the course!
