This course was listed as having some "rolling hills." Having never been to the area, I was surprised by the fact that there were constant hills and some of them were pretty big, including the last half-mile or so to the finish. We had a tough time finding the packet pick-up and the "expo" was about 3 tables. The "customized windbreakers" were of nice enough quality, but the printing is too small for anyone to read without coming in way too close. The hat is ok, but the gloves were $1 stretchy gloves. This was the 1st marathon there, but it needs a lot more in terms of course and amenities for the $90 entry fee.

I gave only 3 stars for spectators because this course was so rural that families had an impossible time getting into all but a couple of spots. Those who came out were plenty enthusiastic. A good thing was that there were aid stations every mile complete with portable potties.
