Our Melbourne & Beaches Music Marathon Weekend has grown quickly and is a fun weekend affair that features a kids run, 5-k and 8-k on Saturday with the 1/2 marathon and full marathon on Sunday. There are six musical acts on the 5k and 8k courses and more than 20 bands along the 1/2 and marathon course. we have an average of one aid and water station every mile. The course follows the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway with two bridge crossings for 1/2 marathoners and four for the marathon runners. The 1/2 Marathon is the USATF National Championship Masters race and features many of the nation's best masters runners. the 8-k, 1/2 and full marathon are the USATF Florida State Championship races.
