This is such a cool small trail marathon! Great awards, great organization, great volunteers, and a beautiful loop course. It's the perfect 1st or 50th trail marathon. I'll definitely be back again for my 3rd run.

This was my very first trail race (I did the 10-mile race). I signed up for it because so many of my friends love it and say this is their favorite race. The course was more challenging than I expected, and I was glad to know that I was not the only runner who tripped and went down(I did not get hurt). Every single runner I spoke with took a spill. So I guess I am officially initiated. You all did a great job hosting a well-organized fun race with terrific volunteers at such a remote location. Congratulations! I hope to be back next year.

Whether you are doing the 10 mile or full marathon option, the race directors of this race treat everyone like royalty. The trail is challenging, but the volunteers and the other participants make it a wonderful time. The celebration atmosphere going on from the night before (for those camping) till the last runner finishes is wonderful.

This is hands down on of my all-time favorite races. I volunteered last year. Ran the meltdown this summer. Ran the full this year. I'm already planning on coming back whether as a runner or volunteer. This is such a wonderful race, people could not be any nicer - from directors, timing co, runners, spectators & volunteers. I'd def recommend!

This was my first marathon and it was an amazing experience. I have run several trail events and wanted to do a trail marathon. The support for this race was beyond any other trail events I have done. The volunteers were so happy and friendly every time I saw them. The loop course was perfect for my family to support me throughout the race. The pre race e-mails, website and Facebook community was a lot of fun and helped build the excitement for this race. I am hooked on the marathon distance thanks to this race, it's organization, location and festivities. It is a race I will do every year from now on.

I've been running for 31 years, ran in more races than I can remember. Medoc Trail Marathon has the best volunteers, greatest trail support, most organized and best prizes, goody bag stuff of any race I've ever done. The best way to describe Medoc Trail Marathon is like being a kid at Christmas who is filled with wonder and excitement. It's one of the most fun things that I look forward to all year. It's the best....hands down...the best.

This was one of the best marathons I've run. The RDs were right out there keeping it fun and exciting. The camping out was an added bonus which was FREE btw. If this flat lander can finish this marathon with no hill training, what is keeping you? Do it! You wont regret it.

These guys do a wonderful job of putting on a race. The location is great, the volunteers are amazing, the entire race crew should get a medal for the efforts! It is the only race I know I will be running from year to year. This was my 3rd running of the Medoc and I cannot wait to see what they do next year. Each year is better than the last and that is a tough accomplishment. Anxiously awaiting the 5th anniversary.
