Not many people from community out cheering runners. Horrible finish line. No one to direct to food. Mile markers not visible.

Every runner should do this once. (about: 2013)

This was only my second marathon. I live in Waco and knew what to expect (hillllllls). It took longer than my first race, but I am proud of myself! If you think you need a challenge, this is it. I double dog dare you!

The fans and the water stations were amazing. People were very supportive, even the passing cars would honk and wave. Things were very well organized and the party at the end was great. Best cooked beef and a nice cold beer.

This is a challenging course, but it is for an amazing cause and run by the friendliest group so you won't even feel it :)

I've done Miracle Match in 2012 and 2013. I placed 3rd in my age both years. It is a tough challenge. Mile 21 starts the worst of the hills so you definitely need some reserve! I fueled with shot bloks and gu and it worked very well. This is a fantastic event, If you like a challenge and hills and a welcoming local community this race is for you. Do not expect a PR.

As a first time runner, it was the perfect experience. I am hooked and look forward to challenging myself with this beautiful course in 2014. The encouraging and supportive fans MADE this race!

Have participated since year one and have fun every time! Our relay team members have changed throughout the years but have kept it in the family so, this makes it even more enjoyable. You know, a family thing is hard to get going these days. Having run the relay every year I noticed there was not a port a potty at the 3rd hand off on lake shore and I feel there should be at every one of them. Overall, it is very organized. I loved the change in the first relay route through Baylor this year!

Well organized and for a great cause. They work hard to introduce children to the joy of running. Course is tough but who doesn't enjoy a challenge. I'll be back next year.

I ran the full course in 2012 and it was the toughest physical challenge I've ever taken on. The beauty of the course eased the pain (somewhat) and the encouragement of the spectators and volunteers made it a no brainer that I'd finish, even though the brutal hills made me want to fall down, assume the fetal position and cry. Second, the fact that 100% of donations goes to the charity also makes this an easy choice. I learned a valuable lesson from last year's course and so this year I ran the Phoenix Half, and loved it as well. The 5K course was nice and flat and fast on Saturday, although I believe it and the half-marathon course on Sunday may have measured a bit long according to my and others' GPS watches. Unfortunately, the Air Force will take me away from Waco this summer and I doubt I'll be able to come back to participate. I'll miss this event and the others around Waco (Bearathon, TriWaco, Komen), which are all top-notch. Thank you for a second year of great memories.

Great course. Tough, but exciting! (about: 2013)

The hills of Waco are tough no matter what your doing. These hills were rediculous, but managable. At one point about half way through the 13.1 course, I was running through the Waco Zoo! That was a great surprise and a great pick-me-up to finish strong. Great run.
