Greetings Fellow Runners & Happy New Year!!

The team at the Fort Lauderdale Marathon & Half Marathon is looking forward to a great 2012, and a fantastic 7th annual running of our event! In case you haven't heard, we are known for our top notch medals and beautiful beachfront course. In fact our 2010 Marathon medal won the prize of the best marathon medal in North America, as voted on by a panel of industry veterans. Each year we strive to raise the bar in our medal design and creativity.

As for our run course....this event makes for an ideal winter destination run. This Boston Qualifier course is fast and flat, and is obviously at sea level! There is only one small inclined bridge, with the rest of the course straight and flat, so runners can push their limits. The temperatures range from the mid 50s to low 70s. Additionally our weekend features a Half Marathon, 5K, and a 2-Day Expo.
