I walked this marathon and was very happy doing it. The course is beautiful, along the Willamette River in Eugene and not hilly. There were ample aid stations. I felt great at the end, in spite of blisters. I would highly recommend this one.

I WALKED this event as a half-marathon participant in 2003. The course is comfortable and scenic - no difficult areas. It had a very non-competitive feel, yet everyone was encouraged to do their own very best. Every finisher got a medal, too!
