This marathon takes place in Torreon, a city located in the middle of a desert in the north part of Mexico. Most of the time records in Mexico are run in Torreo´s marathon, because it´s a no-hill race with very low humidity levels. The warmth of the spectators along the whole race is something to remember.

I never expected such an excellent organization for a Mexican marathon. On time, international runners, 2-4 thousand runners, a lot of involvement from spectators, great entertainment on the course. Water stations every mile. Massage session for every runner at the finish. Only one problem: they did not have portable bathrooms along the course.
