Forgive me for not doing my homework on this race. I couldn't run St. George so I looked for another. If I had seen the course before I arrived, I would not have entered... simply based on the hills. Now, after having run it... simply because of the hills... and the scenery... I want to go back. Lucy and her crew did a great job... Thanks

This is a tough race through a beautiful state park. The people that stage this event are personable and do a good job. The race should be renamed 'The Valley of Fire Challenge' with a motto of 'This Ain't No St. George.' If you are looking for a challenging course with lots of HILLS this is for you. If you are looking for a PR course, keep looking.
