If you are looking for a small-scale yet extremely well-organized event, look no further than the Blackhorse Marathon!

This course - certified by the U.S. Track and Field Association - is challenging enough to push seasoned runners, but gentle enough to provide beginners the type of experience they are looking for. With gentle hills and breathtaking scenery at every turn, this marathon has something for everyone.

In addition to a free race T-shirt, great prizes are available to all. All runners who complete the marathon will receive a unique finisher's medal, and the top three male and female runners in ten age groups will receive prize medals. Additionally, the top finishers overall will receive commemorative jackets, hotel stays and Las Vegas show tickets. Finally, each participant has the opportunity to win one of many great prizes in our runners' drawing - to include hotel stays, Las Vegas show tickets, GPS systems, 2-way radios, computer equipment, and gift certificates.

The local Ft.
