Really well organised with plenty of water stops and marshalls offering the only crowd support, as most sydney-siders went to the beach on a stinker of a day. Joined with 10km run, which was rather depressing when 80% of runners finished after 10 and left you to conquer rest of trip alone - but great experience!

Tough course, fairly hot weather but very satisfying. Well organised, great support from crowd and volunteers, breath taking scenery and the thrill of competing on the Olympic course.
