Lambeau Field was the reason I entered. (about: 2000)

I think the course needs lots of improvement. Lambeau Field saved the day though - it was awesome! Just too bad it had to be at four miles. Would have been nice to have a little more buildup to that.

If They Improve, We Will Come (about: 2000)

Not a bad effort for a first year race. Need improvemennts to stay alive. Prior reviews all have been on the money.

Careful about the weather -- mid/late June in Green Bay is not always cool. This past year was a HOT race. (Organizers can't fix this.)

The run through Lambeau was great -- the run in and out of the area through industrial/warehouse areas is very boring. Flat, but VERY boring. I can't make suggestions because I don't know the area.

Second half of the race was several times more fun/attractive than first half. Through neighborhoods, parks, some industrial areas (what can you expect??) Make sure you are ready for the hill at 19 -- if the weather is warm SAVE SOME ENERGY!!!

Work needed for post race support at the finish -- especially when finish temperatures are near or above 80.

Volunteers and on-course fans were all great! So..... run through more inhabited parts of the city???

Green Bay is a great host city and will be worth the trip ....... when organizers can show they have made improvements.

Fast, flat course. Room for improvement (about: 2000)

This was a fast, flat course with one hill at mile 19. Lots of water stops and fan support was pretty good. One bad thing was that at the finish line they had everyone's bib number and chip number messed up. It took a week for them to post the results on their web site. Put this one on your calendar for next year if you are running for a time.

Good First Effort (about: 2000)

The marathon went pretty well for a 1st annual. Amount of water and sports drink were great. Perhaps even overwhelming (30 stations in 26 miles!) The organizers failed to deliver on a number of promises however: 'A 26 mile tailgate party' - I'm not sure I saw the party, running through Lambaugh was great though! 'Overhead clocks at 5k, 10k, and 1/2 marathon points' - I must have missed them. 'Plenty of port-a-pots at start' - there were only 8 for 6000 people. I spent 40 minutes in line! Speaking of lines, skip the pre-race pasta dinner. We stood in line for 1 1/2 hours in the rain waiting to get a seat and eat. It would have been nice to know that it was to be held outdoors! It was really disappointing to hear they weren't able to get the age group awards together by that evening, plus ran out of water and drinks pretty early. A good first effort, but room for improvement.

Organizers need to pay attention to details. (about: 2000)

I ran the half marathon and was very greatful to all the volunteers and spectators who kept us going. Running through Lambeau Field was the high point of the event, but unfortunately that was at mile 4 and there wasn't anything else of interest along the way. Water stations were inconsistantly spaced, anywhere from a 1/2 mile apart up to at least 1 1/2 miles maybe even 2 miles apart (I would be more acurate but there weren't any mile markers for several miles either). The Organizers of this event need to pay attention to the details next year, from enough water at the water stations (I ran through three that were out) to whether it's wise to start everyone (6,800) at the same start.

Great Volunteers/no medal, no rose , no WATER (General Comments)

The volunteers and fans were wonderful!!! Running through Lambeau field was fun. Organization poor. After finishing the marathon there was not a drop of water or anything to drink and there were 4 hours of people behind me. A spectator bought me a glass of lemonade. Also, no rose, no medal, and still no results.
