Pacific Shoreline Marathon Announces over
$100,000 in Cash and Prizes for Participants
Huntington Beach, CA October 12, 2005
The Tenth Annual Pacific Shoreline Marathon to be held on February 5, 2006
announced today a $100,000 prize package for participants as part of their
tenth anniversary celebration. The $100,000 package rivals that of the
biggest running events in the country.
Every official finisher in the marathon distance will receive an $89.00
Sony MP3 player. The fastest runners will be competing for a share of the
Speed Bonus on the Half Marathon course. Runners who have participated in
all nine previous Pacific Shoreline Marathons will receive Diamond
Anniversary Finisher Medals for completion of their tenth marathon. Don

Marathon:

MP3 player valued at $89.00
Half Marathon:
All runners who finish ahead of the men™s and women™s course records will
receive and equal share of a $10,000 bonus pool.

The Pacific Shoreline Marathon takes place each year in Huntington Beach,
CA on Super Bowl Sunday. The tenth annual PSM event will be held on
February 5 th , 2006 with 10,000 runners expected to participate in the
