                     Two Cities Marathon Reaches Cap

The Inaugural Eye-Q Two Cities Marathon reached it's 3,000 cap on Wednesday 
November 5th.  Race officials announced Wednesday evening that registration 
closed 2 days prior to the opening of the Health and Fitness Expo and 4 
days before the November 9th race.  
 
This years guest speaker Kathrine Switzer will be hosting the Health and 
Fitness Expo November 7 & 8 and will join in the excitement race day at the 
start line.  Jon Dunham, director and producer of the film "Spirit of the 
Marathon" will also be taking part in the race weekend.
 
"Fresno is the 36th largest state and until now the only of the 50 largest 
states to not have a marathon, until this year", said Mike Herman, race 
director.
