Registration is now open for 2011 St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend races

MEMPHIS, TENN. (May 3, 2011) – Registration is now open for the 2011 St.
Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend races to be held Saturday, December 3.
Participants can register online at www.stjudemarathon.org for any of the
four races: St. Jude Memphis Marathon, St. Jude Memphis Half Marathon, the
Memphis Grizzlies House 5K and the St. Jude Memphis Family Race and Kids
Marathon. Current registration fees are:

Memphis Grizzlies House 5K $30

St. Jude Memphis Family Race & Kids Marathon
$15 per parent; $10 per child

*Registration fees will increase August 1

In addition, participants can make their race experience even more
meaningful by becoming a St. Jude Hero. This special community of runners
and walkers not only commit to the challenge of completing an endurance
race; they commit to helping the kids of St. Jude in their fight for life
by fundraising for the hospital as they train. To help St. Jude Heroes
raise money, fundraising tools including a personalized webpage are
provided. St. Jude Heroes race to cross the finish line but the patients of
St. Jude are the true winners. Last year, more than 4,000 St. Jude Heroes
raised $3 million in support of the lifesaving research and treatment
conducted at St. Jude.

The St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend is one of the few major marathons in
the country to benefit a single charity. The St. Jude Memphis Marathon
