The ABC 7 Sarasota Marathon to take place March 4, 2007

SARASOTA – ABC 7 WWSB has entered into an agreement to become the title
sponsor for the 2007 ABC 7 Sarasota Marathon, which will take place March
4, 2007 in Sarasota.

"We are extremely thrilled to take our involvement with this exciting event
to a new level." said J. Manuel Calvo, President and General Manager of ABC
7 WWSB. "Our commitment to being community connected is the reason why we
feel it is so important for us to support the ABC 7 Sarasota Marathon. We
are confident this is an event that will continue to grow over the years
and not only bring more and more people to the Suncoast, but also instill
pride in those who live here. Everyone wins on so many levels."

Lisette Riveron, Race Coordinator for the ABC 7 Sarasota Marathon said, "We
are so honored that ABC 7 has come on board as our title sponsor. It means
a great deal to us that this well respected community oriented corporation
has this kind of confidence in our event. We know this is a relationship
that will continue for many years."

The 2007 race is expected to draw at least 3,000 runners, plus their
families and fans. Last year’s marathon was a "runaway" success, with more
than 1,700 runners representing 42 U.S. states and 9 countries, plus more
than 500 volunteers and countless Suncoast residents lining the streets and
the Ringling Bridge to cheer on the runners.
