Mercedes Marathon Course Preview

Birmingham, AL - In just over two weeks, thousands of runners will ascend
on downtown Birmingham for the 10th Annual Mercedes Marathon weekend
February 12-13. This weekend, however, participating runners and walkers
can come out and preview the course. A trial run of the Mercedes Marathon
and Half-Marathon course will be held this Sunday, January 30th, at 6:30
a.m. in which participants can run anywhere from 7-26 miles. The trial
run will begin at The Boutwell Auditorium. There will be three water
stations that will supply water, Powerade and Gu.

There is no sign up or entry fee for Sunday's trial run. Anyone is welcome
to participate. Runners are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early and
meet in the lobby of Boutwell for final instructions.
