               Business Challenge Encourages Area Companies to 
                   Promote Health & Fitness To Employees
  
APPLETON, WI – The 20th annual Community First Fox Cities Marathon 
presented by Kimberly-Clark is encouraging all area companies to promote 
health & fitness to their employees through the Business Challenge, 
sponsored by The Business News.  The Business Challenge is a friendly 
competition among all area companies, including non-profit groups, schools 
and municipalities.  Companies can be located anywhere in Northeast 
Wisconsin, including the Fox Cities, Green Bay, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, or 
Lakeshore areas.

The top three companies in each division will be determined by the highest 
percentage of local workers participating in any of four weekends events 
held on September 18-19, 2010:

Time Warner Cable 5K Run/Walk 
Orthopedic & Sports Institute Relay Marathon 
Community First Fox Cities Marathon 
ThedaCare Orthopedics Plus Half Marathon 
 
Companies will receive support materials, including posters, sample emails, 
and training plans to promote the Business Challenge to their employees.

The Community First Fox Cities Marathon provides a healthy weekend of five 
running or walking events for any age or ability.  With over 7,100 
participants in 2009, the 20th annual event is set for September 17-19, 
2010.   As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Fox Cities Marathon 
partners with area charities and donates any proceeds to area non-profit
