Volunteers Who Sign Up by June 1 to Be Entered In Special Drawing

APPLETON, WI – People who sign up by June 1 to volunteer for the 2009
Community First Fox Cities Marathon Festival of Races will be entered in a
special drawing for 2 (two) Air Tran airline tickets to anywhere they fly
in the U.S. This year’s event is scheduled for September 19 & 20, 2009,
with most volunteer needs that weekend, however there are some volunteer
opportunities prior to race weekend.

This incentive is being offered to encourage more volunteers to sign-up
earlier so any additional volunteer needs can be identified and filled
during the summer. The event needs over 2,300 volunteers and is
encouraging individuals and families plus school, church or company groups
to get involved. Volunteers must be 18 or older to qualify for this
promotion but all interested volunteers can go online at

The Community First Fox Cities Marathon provides a healthy weekend of six
running and walking events for any age or ability. As a 501(c)3 non-profit
organization, the Fox Cities Marathon partners with area charities and
