                Everyone's A Winner In the 2012 Cyprus Marathon, 
                         Half Marathon & 10 km Road Race

We invite you to join hundreds of participants in this year Cyprus 
Marathon, Half Marathon & 10 km (Sunday 11th March 2012) and run in the 
historic city of Paphos.  Take the opportunity to run the oldest and best 
city marathon in all of Cyprus! 

Visit the beautiful city of Paphos and participate in this unique and 
extremely popular event. The Cyprus Marathon hosts over 500 runners and 
hundreds of cheering spectators each year, giving runners from around the 
world the opportunity to run under Cyprus winter sun and have fun. All 
participants will receive a souvenir T-shirt and a finisher's medal. 
Trophies will be awarded in 50 different age group categories. The 
entertainment activity programme will include 'Greek music of the 20th 
century' followed from a dancing group who will perform both Greek / 
Cypriot folk dance and invite runners and spectators to join in. Braiv 
Health Clubs will organize a 15' warm-up session before the start of the 
Half Marathon & 10 km at the Paphos Mediaeval Fort square. 

The new Headquarters (Organiser's Office) of the Cyprus Marathon will be 
the 'En Plo' Paphos Municipality Exhibition Hall nearby the Paphos 
Mediaeval Fort. The Marathon course 
(http://www.cyprusmarathon.com/course-map.htm) will start from Petra tou 
Romiou (Birthplace of Aphrodite goddess of love and beauty) and finish at 
the Pafos Mediaeval Fort Square. The Half Marathon and 10 km Road Race will 
start and finish at the Pafos Mediaeval Fort Square nearby the Pafos 
fishing harbour.
