New Registration Cap for the 2012 Atlantic City Marathon & Half Marathon
Atlantic City, New Jersey – April 17, 2012: The Atlantic City Marathon
Race Series announced the official opening of 2012 Marathon & Half Marathon
Registration on May 1, 2012. This year registration for the two races will
be capped at 5,000. The race series will take 3,000 half marathon and
2,000 marathon runners. In addition to this race cap, some of the race
registrations will be dedicated to those fundraising for charitable
organizations. More information about affiliated charitable organizations
will be available on May 1, 2012.
The growing race series, which currently includes the Atlantic City
Marathon & Half Marathon on October 20 & 21, 2012 and the April Fools Half
Marathon on April 7, 2013, each consist of multiple race distances and
weekend celebrations.
Registration for both events is now open and can be completed online at
www.acmarathon.org.
About the Atlantic City Marathon Race Series: The Atlantic City Marathon
Race Series is a division of the Milton and Betty Katz JCC, a non-profit
organization based in Margate, New Jersey. The Race Series is dedicated to
supporting the local community charitable works as well as the Milton and
Betty Katz Early Childhood Scholarship Programs. Working in conjunction
with National charitable organizations, it is the goal of the Atlantic City
Marathon Race Series to support organizations that fundraise through road
racing events. For each participant, the Race Series strives to offer
events that allow participants of all skill levels to participate and
accomplish their personal goals. The Atlantic City Marathon Race Series
provides sponsors and the local community highly effective exposure
throughout the year to help maximize their presence and support the
community.
