Allen, who was attempting a 2:47:00 qualifying time for the 2008 US Women's Olympic Trials, missed her mark by two minutes. Allen looks forward to attempting a qualifying time for the 2012 trials.

		The Shamrock Marathon Grows a Little More Green (Pilot Online) The Virginia Beach Shamrock Marathon is green in more ways than one and this year it grows a little more green. The 26.2 mile race has always been centered around St. Paddy's day and displayed all levels of green in the past.
