Claudia Becque of Chicago was runner-up in 2:44:52 followed by Shaluinn Fullove of Palo Alto, Calif., in a personal best 2:46:04. Mary Coordt of Elk Grove, California was the final qualifier in 2:46:30.

She advises to run within yourself, to pass rather than be passed and to have a strong finish. Benoit Samuelson will run in her seventh consecutive Womens Olympic Marathon Trials race in Boston. Instead of competing for a spot on the U.S. Olympic team, however, Benoit Samuelson will aim for a 2:50 finish.
