Isabellah Andersson won her third consecutive Stockholm women's marathon title with a time of 2 hours 31 minutes and 35 seconds. Joseph Langat won the over all title with a time of 2 hours 12 mintutes and 48 seconds.

   Kipkemei wins Stockholm Marathon (MSN)
Paul Kipkemei led all comers to a Kenya 1-2 finish at the Stockholm Marathon. Kipkemei finished the 26.2 mile race with a time of 2 hours 15 minutes and 35 seconds. It was the fastest time in the last four years for the thirty-one year old marathon.

Willy Korir won the Stockholm Marathon in 2:16:03. Bernard Mutai was second in 2:17:57 and Paul Kipkemoi Tangus was third, while two-time defending champion Phillip Bandawe finished fourth. Isabellah Andersson of Sweden won the women's race in 2:34:14, more than six minutes ahead of Sweden's Lena Gavelin.

Bandawe crossed the finish line after 2 hours, 20 minutes, 56 seconds, nearly four minutes slower than last year. Kemboi, who kept pace with the Zimbabwean until the final kilometers, came in at 2:22:16.
