Haulin Aspen Marathon a tough climb, not a walk in the park

The women's race of the 2008 Haulin' Aspen Marathon whose course gains 2,500 feet in elevation was won in 3:14:13 by three-time champion, Kami Semick. Semick won unchallenged as runner-up Heather Daniel finished in 3:37:18 and third-place female finisher was Anna Tall in 4:27:09. The mens marathon was won by Timothy Vandervlugt who also set a new course record in 3:03:17. Douglas Lang was second in a time of 3:10:22 and Gerad Dean third in 3:10:58.
