Engle Finishes First; Ochs Bests Women's Field In Sunday's San Juan Island Marathon

Chuck Engle won the San Juan Island Marathon with a time of 3 hours 7 minutes and 32 seconds just one day after having finished 5th in the Newport Oregon Marathon with a time of 2 hours 49 minutes.

Man fighting to stay in U.S. wins SJI Marathon

Manuh Santos won the San Juan Island Marathon in 2 hours, 38 minutes and 51 seconds which eclipsed his previous best of 2 hours 39 minutes and 14 seconds. He has lived in the US illegally and is fighting for his citizenship. He has won three of the four marathons he has entered. He finished second in the other one.

Orcas Island's Greg Ripley Finishes 3rd In San Juan Island Marathon

Brian Gray and Stas Gray, of Seattle, hoisted hands in victory as they crossed the finish line. Brian technically won the duo's debut marathon in three hours, eight minutes and five seconds.
