Bob Onders, who was attending a wedding the night before the race, achieved a three-peat winning the Casper Marathon in a 2:44:07. Joe Wilson was second in 2:49:39. Defending Champion Tracy Thelen won the women's division placing third overall at 3:07:26.

Man has heart attack at the Casper Wyoming Marathon

Luckily for local runner Mike Wilkinson, CPR instructor Emil Gercke was also running the Casper Marathon. Gercke found Wilkinson - who had suffered a heart attack and collapsed - without a pulse, but managed to revive him.
