Kevin Kline, a radio host from Houston, will attempt to run the Leadville Trail 100 Marathon this weekend. Kline is calling this a training run as he prepares for the Strides Across Texas 500-mile solo ultramarathon across Texas to raise money for the Texas Children's Cancer Center.

Paul Koch who was originally planning to use the Leadville Trail Marathon as part of his training for the Pikes Peak Marathon got caught up in the competition and was the overall winner, finishing in 3:44:46.
