Cancer Survivor To Run For Special Cause at Ellerbe Springs Marathon

Runners make tracks in local Ellerbe marathon

The runners who finished the Ellerbe Springs Marathon did so despite the 26.2 miles of rain soaked pavement and tough hills. Andrea McGehee finished first overall and marked the first time a woman had won the overall title in the 300 plus person marathon.

Runners head to Ellerbe Springs Marathon

Runners from as far away as Japan and England have conquered the Ellerbe Springs Marathon which is to be held this coming Saturday at 8 am for the 18th annual race. The race is expected to draw nearly 150 runners.
