Wheelerville road is a dirt road that winds for 7.4 miles. It connects VT Rt 4 to the Notch Rd in Rutland Town. I reccomend starting on the Rt 4 side where there is a small parking lot and places to park along the road. Up and down hill running (overall elevation increases however) for the first 4 miles to the Bucklin Trail entrance(which is a great way to hike (run?) to the top of Killington Peak.
Wheelerville Rd is a great place for training. If you like running at all you will love running on this road! |
