I'm listening to my body, took a day off after my left achilles had a weird sensation.
I can do fine on the three and four mile runs. I'm still doing my share of walking, I've still got four months or so before October 4 ...
I'm just going slow and, as you guys said, listening to my body.
I can only figure you have seen a lot of people come on to the boards and then get burned out. In another month or so, I'm looking at a few 5K's to build into my running, just to get used to running races. I need to get up to the full time of running without stopping (I realize going slow is key early on).
Thanks for the tips, I'll be sure to listen and apply them.
