Chad, just to share a lesson of experience. ran the MCM last year with a 3:40 goal pace. it was my second marathon and i felt in reasonably good shape. had followed a training program and done 1 20 miler. came out feeling good. followed the pacer for the first 10. picked up the pace a little. pace team passed me at mile 23 as i struggled with a crushing hamstring cramp. finished in 3:47. Lesson...its not the first 20, its the last 6. Better to come out slow and finish strong. Best of luck and let us know how it goes.
