Ok, I know this is going to be a hot topic, with lots of opinions, but I registered for the "Goofy" last summer, now I find myself unable to go. To want , and be able to run this race, only to find it closed is depressing. Therefore, I wanted to sell my entrance to someone who will go and enjoy the race, I dont want to make any money, just recoup at least half the entrance fee of 250.00. Does anyone have any experience in this, I would not want to sell my entrance to this race, and have that person get to Florida, and find out they cant get in. I ran the full marathon in 07, and remember showing a drivers lic. I inocently contacted the RD office, they were anything but friendly. ANY suggestions helpful, just please keep the bashing about how this is wrong to yourselves, I am a 5:30 marathoner, and was just doing this for fun, no I am not looking to get into Boston either!
