Many races are decided in the last mile and many in the last 100 meters. Running 4 lap repeats in lane 4 gives you that little extra distance which, over the course of time doing speed repeats, comes in very handy to outkick a competitor in the last 100 meters. I have found it usefull physically and psychologically. Just a suggestion Zeke. Not a mole hill to be made into a mountain.
