My recommendation of use of lane 4 ASSURES that you get the full mile plus some extra distance. Unless one pays very close attention to running the very outside of lane 1, you only get 5,249.6 feet of distance (1 meter = 3.281 feet X 1,600 meters) .... thus you are short of the 5,280 feet in a mile. Yes, you do get more than a mile in lane 4 .... that is the idea. Hi Zeke. Have a great day.
