According to a nutritionist who spoke to our MiT group last week, cravings mean you are not getting enough fat in your diet. She suggested that you have some fat with each meal. Plant fat is optimal, but I am sure as long as you don't go crazy others are fine too.
Peanuts, and peanut butter, have a ton of plant fat. Perhaps that's why you crave it.
