well i am 21 yrs old guy... i have just started enjoying the running experience and i was just thinking about a target to achieve. So i decided about competing in a race soon (i plan to run a marathon but first). But what i am really thinking about is giving myself 2 years of training to see whether i can run a 10 km run in under 29 minutes (this is something that no way i can do right now)? do you think it is possible for a guy to do that in just 2 years? By the way i am quiet a healthy, determined guy (need to loose a little weight though) but i love challenges. so if any of you out there think it is possible or if you have achieved a similar sort of thing than please share your training tips with me. I am sure it will be a great inspiration for not only me but for those too who might be reading this and thinking the same.
